Founded in 2008, HathiTrust is a not-for-profit collaborative of academic and research libraries preserving 17+ million digitized items. HathiTrust offers reading access to the fullest extent allowable by U.S. copyright law, computational access to the entire corpus for scholarly research, and other emerging services based on the combined collection. HathiTrust members steward the collection — the largest set of digitized books managed by academic and research libraries — under the aims of scholarly, not corporate, interests.
The Digital Library Federation is a community work of the DLF possible, supporting community efforts in a variety of research and prototyping, information sharing, staff development, networking, and catalytic initiatives. However, individuals are invited to participate in DLF working groups and events regardless of institutional status. DLF serves all who are invested in the success of libraries, museums, and archives in the digital age.

Image Collections Online serves as a showcase for various image collections curated by the libraries, departments, and cultural institutions of Indiana University. Launched in December 2011, Image Collections Online includes historical photographs from the Liberian Collections and images of cultural objects from the Lilly Library at IU Bloomington. As the site grows we will be adding new collections from throughout the Indiana University community, as well as bringing in existing collections.
Digital library Kramerius is a project of the National Library of the Czech Republic. The digital library contains more than 8 millions of scanned pages. Some of the documents are in German, Russian, English and other languages.
The Texas Digital Library offers scholars and researchers at TDL member institutions the opportunity to set up their own Research Wikis, hosted by the TDL, to share knowledge and collaborate in any of the myriad ways wikis allow
DIGMAP developed solutions for georeferenced digital libraries, especially focused on historical materials and in the promoting of our cultural and scientific heritage. The main purpose was to develop a specialized service, reusing metadata from European national libraries, to provide discovery and access to contents provided by those libraries. Relevant metadata from third party sources was also reused, as also descriptions and references to any other relevant external resource.<br />

The project made a proof of concept reusing and enriching the contents from the National Library of Portugal (BNP), the Royal Library of Belgium (KBR), the National Library of Italy in Florence (BNCF), and the National Library of Estonia (NLE). In a second phase, that will be complemented with contents and references from other libraries, archives and information sources, namely from other European national libraries members of TEL (DIGMAP might became integrated with TEL)
